The name of the cottage village Green Lake is related to its location - the houses are located right in the middle of a pine forest and near a cascade of lakes. This area is commonly referred to as the Ukrainian Switzerland due to its picturesque nature and good ecology.

The architecture and style of the houses were designed to naturally blend the village into the landscape and harmonize with nature, while also being functional and practical.
